Couple months ago, I was on that “beer variety pack” algo. Dudes would post 5-6 random beers with the caption “bullpen game tonight.” Loved it, and this is coming from a guy who despises bullpen games. More of an old-fashioned, pitcher chuckin’ it 121 times into the eighth guy myself. Shoutout Tim Lincecum.

It never dawned on me how the 6 random beers came to be. Figured they were leftovers from a BBQ or something. I guess you could buy the beers individually. Build your own six-pack situation that I know some beer/liquor stores do, but that’s not really a bullpen game. Feels more like a tryout.

Then I got this DM from Will K (@willpkeenan) and it all made sense. “Yeah. I could just do that. No fucking shit Bobby.”

This Move has US Open Sunday afternoon written all over it. Need to start polishing off 5 packs immediately.

Getting pumped just thinking about it. Get a cooler, place it right next to you. Living room cooler, W. Go the random route and have someone pull out the next beer for you. (For the random attack: the reason you choose someone else to pull the beer is because you’re 100% aware of the different sizing and feel of each beer. You know the bottle is Corona, the fat stubby guy is Coors, skinny = Michelob, so on and so forth.) “Banquet! Lil’ back nine Coors for the boys!”

Is this Move life changing? Maybe… but probably not. Will this Move make watching the US Open on Sunday a touch more entertaining? Oh yeah.

Man, I can’t wait to kick back, relax, and open my throat to suck down some of Tom Brady’s Good Nut this summer. Life is good, man. Life is good.

We really need to stop making live-action remakes of movies with animated animals. The whole point of Scooby-Doo is he’s a cartoonish dog, not a realistic puppy like this new version. I’m sorry but I simply can’t imagine this fella slurping down a massive sub.

I know there’s ‘scientific evidence’ and stuff, but this video of a gorilla brooding after getting in a fight with his wife is all the evidence I need that they are our closest relative.

Submitting my petition for Synchronized Walking to be added to the next Olympics. I’m looking for a partner if anyone wants to change the world with me in 2 years.

I’m all for this new Trojan Horse popcorn bucket to promote The Odyssey (Strider actually called this last week.) Not only is it fun and on-theme for the movie, but it’s also an excellent place to store drugs and/or secret files if necessary. Win-win.

A rather large mood. I don’t want to do shit today, I’ll be perfectly honest with you all. Sometimes the relentlessness of life can just get you down. The only thing you want to do is lay on your back in a shallow body of water and let the hot African sun warm your exposed stomach. Sadly, I am a person, not a hippo. So I still have to drag my ass to work and doctor’s appointments and a friend’s improv show at 10 pm on a Tuesday night and work dinners and remember people’s birthdays and try to go to the gym enough to not hate myself. I hope this hippo realizes how lucky he has it. Knicks in 5.
